Our client, Compacer, boasts 25 years of expertise in integrating and automating business-critical processes. They design and implement smart service solutions for international corporations and medium-sized companies in EDI, e-Invoicing, Retrofit, and Predictive Maintenance.

Compacer's Capitain.io is a web-based finance management tool that eliminates tedious bookkeeping and paperwork. It offers automatic invoice recognition, payment, bank reconciliation, and preparatory accounting, with integration capabilities for various IT systems and B2B platforms.

Following the success of the web application, Compacer expanded Capitain.io's functionality to mobile apps for both Android and iOS devices, ensuring users have access to all features while on the move.

Mobile apps development started in October 2021 and the project was split into several milestones defined in such a way as to enable agile development and ongoing implementation of different features already available in the web application.

Alpha versions of both Android and iOS versions were released in April 2022 to allow testing with real-world users, while new features were kept being developed to finish the MVP versions by the end of 2022. In January 2023, MVP versions of both apps were released, and the development was continued with the goal of introducing all the features the web app had to offer, and to introduce new, mobile-specific features.

Ongoing development brings new web and mobile features every few months, alongside improvements and mobile-specific enhancements.
